They have walked into my room when I was sleeping and woken me up. They usually barge into the apartment and then into your personal room to see what they need to fix. Several times throughout my program, I have called for maintenance and they have always come at their convenience. There’s no denying that flamingo looks great on the outside, but it’s the inside that needs work one of which is the maintenance team. If anyone has a poor roommate, they won't let you change room, unless you prove that you have a medical issue. The working contract will be ended with the lease. In case you guys find somewhere else to stay throughout the program, you won't be able to end the lease.
And for those who are going to do the international program. After work you could have to wait 40 minutes for the next bus to come. A girl was kidnapped two weeks ago, nobody received any message about it, to warn us residents about the danger. Also, Maintenance takes very long times sometimes they don't even come to fix the problem. My email, to the director of managers, about it was completely ignored. But first: i didn't receive any email about someone coming into MY house second: my razor was broken! Of course no one will pay for it now but me!.
But inside… On Wednesday my roommate moved out, i went to work, come back at night, and see all my stuff from the bathroom's sink in a a pink plastic bag, i understood somebody got in and had to check if one side of the room was clean.
